TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Travel expenses will be charged when travelling over 10 miles from your stylist / artist's location, and will be charged at £1 per mile to your wedding / trial destination, charged one way only. The first 10 miles are free. Parking and toll charges will be added to your final bill if applicable.
A 20% booking fee will be taken to secure your booking. This will be calculated from the mutually agreed quote. Booking fees are payable by bank transfer. Booking fee payments are required to confirm and secure your booking. Booking fees are non-refundable as they cover the costs incurred for providing you with your booking, including administration time. The fee also secures your wedding day, without this, the date may be offered to other interested parties.
Payments beyond the booking fee will be dealt with directly by your stylist / artist, you will be sent a contract quoting all final fees payable. If payments are not made by the dates specified in the contract then late payment fees may be charged. If payments are not made by the date of the booking then we reserve the right to cancel our services.
Payments paid by bacs should use your name and wedding / event date as a reference

False eyelashes are charged at £10 per set if supplied by the make-up artist
Final balances are due to your make-up artist / stylist no less than 4 weeks before your wedding / event
Due to high demand we have a minimum spend for on the day charges for Saturday and Sunday bookings. In low season (Oct - Feb) the minimum spend is £100, for high season (Mar - Sept) the minimum spend is £175.
Wedding / event bookings on public bank holidays will also have a minimum spend of £175.
CHANGING YOUR BOOKING
Changes to your booking by adding another person on to your original booking can only be accepted if time / resources allow on your wedding / event day and will require prior notice.
Should you wish to reduce your numbers less than 4 weeks before your wedding / event then the original quoted price will still be payable.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING LESS THAN 4 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
If you cancel your booking with any member of the team less than 4 weeks before your wedding / event date then the full remaining balance is due.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING LESS THAN 8 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
If you cancel your booking with any member of the team less than 8 weeks before your wedding / event date 50% of the remaining balance is due.
CANCELLING IN CASE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC
If you are forced to cancel (not postpone) your wedding / event due to a global pandemic, and the date of your wedding / event falls during a government lockdown period, meaning legally your wedding / event cannot go ahead, then all payments made beyond the booking fee and trial are refundable. Trial payments and booking fees remain non-refundable due to work being undertaken equating to these amounts.
CANCELLING A TRIAL
If you cancel your trial booking with any member of the team less than 24 hours before your trial time, then the full fee is payable to the artist.
IF WE NEED TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel our services and no other team member can attend your event, all payments made beyond the trial would be immediately refundable.
If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of South West Bridal Hair and Make-up, every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made, however no compensation will be offered on South West Bridal Hair and Make-up’s part. The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.
POSTPONING YOUR WEDDING
If you need to postpone your wedding / event with us, then provided the team member you chose is free and the new date is within 12 months of your original date then no further charges will be added to your booking
If you need to postpone your wedding / event more than 12 months from your original date then inflation charges / a new booking fee will apply.
If you need to postpone your wedding / event and your original chosen team member isn’t free then we would endeavor to cover this with another team member. Please note travel charges may change and would be payable by you. If you don’t want to go ahead with a different team member then this would be classed as a cancellation. (Please see cancellation terms).
As part of the service we can create a custom made wedding morning schedule for your day to incorporate both hair and make-up. Please communicate directly with Emily to request this.
Photographs and notes will be taken on the date of the trial in order to keep a clear record of your chosen look.
If any of your bridal party, wedding guests, or other wedding vendors display abusive or offensive behaviour or make any of the South West Bridal Hair and Make-up team feel uncomfortable in any way, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without refund.

Leanne, Carly, Sally, Jennifer, Leah, Casey, Jen and Charlotte M are our Airbrush Make-up Artists. They're highly experienced in both airbrush and traditional make-up.
